What are the dates and duration of the course?
The course will span 6 days. The typical stay will be 7 nights and 8 days, including arrival and departure days. The course will take place in the third week of June 2027.
Which airport should participants fly into? What are the airport transfer arrangements?
It is recommended to fly into Nadi. Transport will be organised for all participants via a private shuttle from Nadi airport to the accommodation and back. Participants should organise their flights to ensure arrival before and departure after the shuttle times.
Are meals provided during the course?
Yes, all meals are provided. If you wish to bring additional food such as snacks, nuts, chocolate, teas, or coffee, please check Fiji immigration regulations.
Alcoholic beverages sought by participants may incur a personal cost.
Will participants require a visa to travel to Fiji?
While most countries do not require a visa to travel to Fiji, it is your responsibility to check visa requirements well in advance with your passport-issuing country and/or Fiji immigration. Please see Entering Fiji – Fiji Immigration Department for more details.
Do participants share rooms/accommodation?
Typically, participants share rooms, with two people per room each with its own ensuite bathroom. You will be informed about room allocation prior to the course.
There are limited number of single rooms with ensuite bathroom but at a higher cost than shared rooms. You will need to pay the additional cost for a single room.
Is there any downtime for personal or informal activities?
Each day should finish between 4:30-5:00 pm, allowing time before dinner for personal activities, networking, and reflection. A few “time-off” sessions are also included in the programme.
Can participants extend their stay in Fiji before or after the course?
Participants can extend their stay in Fiji at their own cost. However, they need to ensure they arrive and leave the ONLP course accommodation at the set times.
Is travel insurance required for participants?
Travel and health insurance are recommended and should be arranged individually. ONLP will not cover travel and health insurance for this course; you must arrange your own cover.
How many participants will be at the course?
There will usually be between 20 and a maximum of 30 participants.
Will participants receive a certificate upon completion of the course?
Yes, you will receive a certificate upon completion.
What should participants bring with them for the course?
Casual clothing suitable for the climate, good walking shoes, bug repellent, swimsuit, sunscreen, hat, phone, iPad or laptop including chargers. Please check if you need a travel adaptor.
How will participants be notified of their acceptance into the course?
You will receive an email notification of acceptance into the course around the third week of December.
